In this workshop you will use the slab building method to create a tall thin vase which you will then decorate to be a character, human or animal! You can then use our range of underglazes to colour your vases. You can make more than one provided you can finish them on time.
We will provide you with different ideas or you can come with your own and we will try to help you create your vision.
These vases will be usable and will hold small amount of water suitable for a few flowers.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners.
Your piece will then be fired, glazed and fired again by us, ready to collect in 3 - 4 weeks.
What is included?

- We will add a clear glaze over your piece
- A bisque and glaze firing

The session will be delivered by a tutor with over 30 years teaching experience in our rural studio here at Fairfield Farm, Singleton, Lancs, UK.
Most of the time our workshops are inside however, sometimes they will be held outside if the weather is suitable. Please come prepared for either situation.
